About Trimes Technology
What is Trimes Technology?
Trimes Technology LLC is a Houston, Texas-based enterprise IT services company specializing in infrastructure managed services, IT professional services, enterprise hardware solutions, and third-party software maintenance. We serve enterprise and mid-market organizations across the United States, providing an alternative to OEM support contracts at significantly reduced cost without compromising on quality or response time.
How long has Trimes Technology been in business?
Trimes Technology has been operating for over 14 years, with a team that brings together decades of combined experience across enterprise networking, server and storage infrastructure, data center operations, and IT project delivery.
Where is Trimes Technology located and what areas do you serve?
Our headquarters is located at 9800 Centre Pkwy, Suite 647, Houston, TX 77036. We operate field coverage across multiple states throughout the continental United States, supporting clients with on-site services at data centers, colocation facilities, and enterprise office locations nationwide.
What types of clients does Trimes Technology typically work with?
We primarily serve enterprise and mid-market organizations across industries including financial services, healthcare, telecommunications, energy, and technology. Our clients range from companies managing multi-site distributed infrastructure to organizations with colocation data center environments seeking cost-effective alternatives to OEM support contracts.
Infrastructure Managed Services
What is the difference between NOC Base, Fix & Patch, and Full Management tiers?
NOC Base provides 24/7 monitoring, incident detection, remote diagnostics, and escalation management — it is a visibility and alerting service. Fix & Patch (Plus) builds on NOC Base by adding proactive remediation: OS and firmware patching, configuration management, performance optimization, and compliance monitoring. Full Management is our comprehensive outsourcing model, where Trimes Technology assumes end-to-end operational responsibility for your infrastructure including capacity planning, vendor coordination, and strategic optimization.
What SLA response times do you offer?
SLA response times are defined per engagement based on the criticality of your environment and the service tier selected. Our managed services engagements include documented SLAs for alert acknowledgement, remote response, and escalation timelines. We offer SLA options ranging from standard next-business-day through 4-hour and 24/7 response models depending on the service tier and asset criticality.
Do you support multi-vendor environments?
Yes. Multi-vendor infrastructure support is a core capability of Trimes Technology. We support equipment from Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Palo Alto, Dell, HPE, NetApp, IBM, Pure Storage, Nutanix, VMware, and many other major enterprise vendors under a single managed services agreement — eliminating the need to manage separate OEM support contracts for each vendor.
Can you manage infrastructure in colocation facilities we don't own?
Yes. We have extensive experience supporting enterprise infrastructure in third-party colocation and data center environments. Our Remote Hands service is specifically designed for situations where physical presence is required at facilities your internal team cannot easily access, including carrier-neutral data centers and co-lo environments across the United States.
Third-Party Maintenance
What is third-party maintenance and how does it differ from OEM support?
Third-party maintenance (TPM) is independent hardware and software support provided by a specialist firm rather than the original equipment manufacturer. Trimes Technology’s TPM practice delivers equivalent technical expertise, parts availability, and SLA commitments as OEM maintenance programs — typically at 40–60% of OEM renewal pricing. TPM is particularly valuable for organizations with hardware approaching or past OEM end-of-service-life (EOSL) dates, where OEM support becomes prohibitively expensive or unavailable entirely.
Can you support hardware that has reached OEM end-of-service-life (EOSL)?
Yes — this is one of our most impactful service capabilities. Trimes Technology provides continued enterprise-grade maintenance for servers, storage arrays, and network equipment that has reached OEM EOSL boundaries. This allows organizations to operate proven, stable infrastructure beyond OEM support windows and manage their refresh timelines on their own terms rather than being forced into premature capital expenditure.
What vendor platforms do you support under third-party maintenance?
Our TPM practice covers a broad ecosystem including:
Servers: Dell PowerEdge, HPE ProLiant, Cisco UCS, Lenovo ThinkSystem, IBM Power
Storage: Dell EMC, NetApp, HPE, IBM, Hitachi, Pure Storage
Networking: Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Palo Alto, F5
HCI: Nutanix, VMware vSAN, Dell VxRail, HPE SimpliVity

How much can we realistically save by switching to Trimes Technology TPM?
Most organizations achieve 40–60% cost savings compared to OEM maintenance renewal pricing. The exact savings depend on the age, model, and volume of equipment in your environment. Trimes Technology offers a complimentary maintenance cost analysis — we review your current OEM contracts and provide a detailed comparison showing your projected savings over a 1, 2, and 3-year horizon.
IT Professional Services
What is your Remote Hands service and when should I use it?
Remote Hands provides certified field technicians for on-site physical infrastructure tasks at locations where your internal team is not present or available. Common use cases include hardware replacement at colocation facilities, emergency break-fix response at remote branch offices, rack and stack installation during data center build-outs, and physical diagnostics for issues that cannot be resolved remotely.
How quickly can you provide Staff Augmentation resources?
Deployment timelines depend on the specific skill set required and the engagement scope. For standard infrastructure roles (network engineers, systems administrators, field technicians), we can typically deploy resources within 5–10 business days of engagement confirmation. For specialized skills, timelines may vary. Contact us with your specific requirements for an accurate availability assessment.
Do your IT Deployment services cover international locations?
Yes. Our IT Deployment service supports global rollouts including international locations. We manage logistics coordination, customs documentation, and equipment delivery for international deployment programs. Our Logistics as a Service practice specifically addresses the complexities of cross-border IT equipment shipments including import compliance, customs clearance, and chain-of-custody documentation.
What is included in your IMAC Services?
IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) Services cover the full range of physical infrastructure change activities: new equipment installation and configuration, equipment relocation within or between facilities, capacity additions such as memory and drive upgrades, and decommissioning of legacy assets. All IMAC activities include change governance documentation, configuration records, and CMDB updates.
Contracts, Pricing & Engagement
How is Trimes Technology's pricing structured?
Pricing is engagement-specific and tailored to the scope, scale, and service tier of each client relationship. Managed services engagements are typically structured as monthly recurring agreements. Professional services engagements are priced on a time-and-materials or project-fixed-fee basis. Hardware and maintenance contracts are priced based on equipment inventory and SLA tier. Contact us at info@trimestechnology.com to request a customized quote.
What contract terms do you offer?
We offer flexible contract terms including month-to-month, annual, and multi-year agreements. Multi-year agreements typically provide the most favorable pricing. Minimum engagement terms vary by service type — contact our team to discuss the structure that best aligns with your organization’s planning horizon and procurement requirements.
Do you offer a free assessment or proof of concept before commitment?
Yes. We offer a complimentary infrastructure assessment and cost analysis for prospective clients. This includes a review of your current managed services or maintenance contracts, identification of cost reduction opportunities, and a proposed service scope tailored to your environment. Schedule a consultation at trimestechnology.com/contact.
Is there a minimum contract size or client scale requirement?
We work with a range of organizational sizes from growing mid-market companies to large enterprises with complex multi-site infrastructure. There is no minimum asset count or revenue threshold for engagement. Our service models are designed to scale — from a focused Remote Hands engagement covering a single data center to a Full Management relationship covering a distributed enterprise environment.

What security certifications does Trimes Technology hold?

In the interim, we operate under documented information security policies, access controls, and data handling procedures aligned with industry best practices. Clients with specific compliance requirements are encouraged to discuss their needs directly with our team

We do not retain client infrastructure credentials beyond the scope of active engagements.
Are your technicians background-checked and vetted?

For engagements requiring access to sensitive environments such as financial institutions, healthcare facilities, or government-regulated data centers, additional vetting documentation can be provided upon request.
